1. Warm Water SoakingSoak the seeds in zwnj;30deg;C warm waterzwnj; for zwnj;6-8 hourszwnj; to soften the seed coat. Avoid prolonged soaking to prevent seed rot.
2. Paper Towel Germination
Spread the seeds evenly on zwnj;moistened non-woven fabriczwnj;, cover with plastic wrap, and place in a zwnj;25deg;C dark environmentzwnj;. Ventilate daily for observation, and sow immediately once the radicle emerges.
3. Substrate Preparation
Fill the container with substrate, lightly press to level, and thoroughly water (allow to stand until no excess water remains).
Use a zwnj;dampened toothpickzwnj; to pick up germinated seeds and plant them on the soil surface with zwnj;3-5cm spacingzwnj; between each.
zwnj;Very lightly coverzwnj; with soil (about zwnj;1-2mmzwnj;), or simply press the seeds to contact the substrate (aloe seeds require light for germination).
Cover with zwnj;transparent filmzwnj; or a zwnj;propagation domezwnj;. Ventilate for zwnj;1 hour dailyzwnj; and maintain slight moisture in the substrate (use spray for watering).
